Daniel Chester, Owner

Daniel is the oldest of three siblings and has lived in the Calgary area for 35 years, 22 of which has been in Cochrane. He lives with his Wife and business partner, Shannon in their home in Cochrane that he helped build.

Daniel has been in the plumbing and heating field for 16 years. During that time he has become a professional troubleshooter in his trade. Coming up with unique solutions to difficult problems using the latest technologies available to him. Having worked new home construction, service, boiler repair, and custom renovations he now brings a strong background to any job he completes.

About the Name PS Contracting

You may think that Prairie Seashell is an unusual name for a plumbing company. It was originally the name of my families 38 foot sail boat “The Prairie Seashell”, which was built over 12 years in the backyard of my families Calgary home. My father and mother in law created the name and spent 8 winters sailing her around Mexico. In honor of my father in law, we decided to continue the name and his legacy of care and commitment. But instead of on the high seas I will bring that care and commitment to the passion that I have always had for making project dreams a reality.
